April 14, 2016 at the Economics Faculty of N.P. Ogarev Mordovia State University there was the round table “The role of the EU in ensuring the accessibility and quality of food”. The event was held in the framework of the project «European Union: global foresight into accessible and quality food» program #Erasmusplus +: Jean Monnet Modules (Project 564989-EPP-1-2015-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE).
The moderator of the round table was Kormishkina Lyudmila Aleksandrovna – Doctor of Economics, Professor, the Head of the Economic Theory Department of N.P. Ogarev Mordovia State University, the leader of the project “European Union: global foresight into accessible and quality food”.

In addition, the students Shoriva Tsuro M.T. (Zimbabve) and M. Babakulyeva (Turkmenistan) studying at N.P.Ogarev Mordovia State University presented the reports about the specific food programs in their countries. They also told about food availability and accessibility in their countries, and the most pressing problems in this area.
